He knew there was room for improvement to be made for a better customer experience that everyone else was just missing. He kept finding himself in these situations until finally he decided to make a change. Spent over a year day in and day out just simply developing a higher clarity, more durable, and installer friendly film until he Stormed into the industry disrupting it by providing the highest quality film, all while keeping it all in-house, American, family owned/operated, cutting out all the middle men, allowing to keep prices the most cost effective and providing the best service for every installer all because he actually understands what it means to be an installer. Taking his personal expiernce as an owner operator and bettering every area. As a result of that here are just a couple of massive strides he’s made in the industry…. We are able to pass all of our savings by doing everything in house onto all of our amazing dealers/partners, and then onto the customer! In the early stages losing 10’s of thousands of dollars if not more on simply learning how to install ppf on his own with no guidance or mentor Jay failed time and time again. This was all because he was reluctant to pay somebody $1500 or $3000 to learn. After many trials and years of experience Jay got the hang of PPF and went on to better himself every year becoming a very well known installer for the best quality installs for his detailing business at the time which he later went and sold to start ClearGuard which was a period of 5 long years. Today as the founder he personally still host most trainings for all ClearGuard Dealers/installers and the best part is he knows how it feels to scrape by and how stern he was to not pay for training that he vowed never charge for installation training and still to this day offers all our Protective Film Installation Trainings for FREE! They are hosted either online or at our opening training facilities where you come to learn in person. They are all FREE!!! As the business owner as long as you are a ClearGuard Dealer you are allowed to even send your employees for free trainings so it doesn’t take time out of your day to teach them.
